FORT WORTH – On the heels of an award-winning year for WBE-certified Cowtown Creative, president and founder Amy Day has been recognized by Women’s Enterprise USA as a Top WBE CEO for 2022.

The council awarded Day this distinction following a nomination by Bliss Coulter, President and CEO of Women’s Business Council – Southwest. In an October email, Coulter explained that she had submitted the nomination after Cowtown Creative’s 15th Anniversary Contest in August, in which the agency awarded one women-owned business a complete marketing start-up package.

“We nominated you because you continually give back to other women-owned businesses and promote the utilization of WBE’s,” Coulter wrote. “When I heard you recently gave away a Marketing Essentials Start-Up package to a deserving women-owned business to help them kick-star their business I was quite impressed. I also see how you often promote the benefits of being a WBE on your social media.”

Day Responds to Award Announcement

Cowtown Creative supports and encourages women in business to apply for WBENC certification and help lift up other women entrepreneurs. She said Wednesday that the honor is all hers.

“I’m flattered that Bliss saw fit to nominate me for this award, and I’m also motivated to do more,” Day explained. “We work with women regularly to complete the women-owned business certification process because we believe it has the power to accelerate business growth. It has certainly done that for Cowtown Creative, and my only regret is that I didn’t pursue certification sooner.”

“Being named a Top WBE CEO is not something I take lightly, and I look forward to doing more to help other women succeed at creating businesses that thrive and grow for years to come.” – Amy Day, Top WBE CEO, 2022

“We had so many fantastic contest nominees from Texas and surrounding states,” she said. “I would love to help more women get started with great marketing so they can experience greater business success very early on.”
