Fort Worth, Texas – Cowtown Creative, LLC, one of the premier marketing and design firms in Fort Worth, received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Council – Southwest (WBCS), a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC certification).

WBENC’s national standard of certification, implemented by WBCS, is a meticulous process including an in-depth business review and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

Cowtown Creative, LLC is 100 percent woman owned by founder and CEO Amy Day, one of the leading figures among marketing and design firms in Fort Worth.

“We’re honored to have earned this certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise,” Day said. “The process has been rigorous, and it’s humbling to be counted among other women-owned businesses that are breaking glass ceilings and changing the face of American entrepreneurship.”

Debbie Hurst, President and CEO of Women’s Business Enterprise – Southwest, said this recognition is well-deserved.

“Congratulations to Cowtown Creative who has recently been certified as a majority owned, operated, and controlled Woman Business Enterprise (WBE),” Hurst said. “The 11.6 million WBEs, like Cowtown Creative, are fueling the American economy by generating over $1.7 trillion in annual revenue and employing 9 million workers.”

Corporate and government agencies include WBEs among their vendors to demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
